MANSEHRA: Prime Minister Imran Khan remarked on Friday that he never mentions Allah or Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his talks in order to sway voters or gain favour.

The premier said he refers to Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his remarks because he sincerely believes in Islamic teachings. He spoke to a public gathering at the Government Post Graduate College in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

PM Imran Khan joked that he tells himself not to use the word “diesel” for PDM chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman before every jalsa, but as soon as he gets atop the stage to begin the jalsa, the word “diesel” starts echoing in the environment, forcing him to say it.

“I am a person who was a cricketing superstar and has travelled the entire world,” he said, adding that he wants to use his expertise to teach the youth the proper route.

“Youngsters, there are always two routes; one is the correct one, and the other is the wrong path,” the premier stated. The former is a tough path, whereas the latter is the path taken by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”

The premier accused the Opposition of horse-trading MNAs, claiming that the combined Opposition offered MNA Saleh Muhammad Rs200-250 million in exchange for voting against him.

When they entered the buying and selling market in Islamabad ahead of the vote on the no-confidence motion, all dissident PTI MNAs had these two alternatives, according to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Opposition’s goal in filing a no-confidence motion, according to the premier, is to force the ruling administration into passing the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), which “will never be given to them.”

Concerning Islamophobia
“The PTI government fought for the approval of a resolution in the United Nations to recognise March 15 as an annual day against Islamophobia,” the premier added.

He went on to say that the United Nations has declared that no one would be allowed to hurt Muslims’ feelings in the name of freedom of expression.

According to the prime minister, Pakistan will grow if it adheres to Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) teachings and maintains justice, equality, and the rule of law in society.
